THOMAS D. TORNABENE age 68 of North Olmsted. Beloved husband of Pam (nee Ulman). Loving father of Sarah Bowens (John), Christopher (Emily) and Brian (Erin). Brother of Diane Rini (Ray) and Robert (Helen). Uncle and friend of many. Staff Lieutenant for Ohio State Highway Patrol. Retired after 34 years.
Beloved husband, father, uncle and best friend. Thomas was a strong, supportive, smart, inventive, and dedicated man that loved to laugh. He loved his family with every fiber of his being and provided love, support, advice, and house repairs everyday of his life. Tom took great pride in his service to the community as a Ohio State Highway Patrolman. He was well known & admired throughout the State Highway Patrol and had many colleagues that became great friends. His fellow patrolmen and women looked up to him and took after his positive and welcoming lead. Tom loved to golf and bowl, and was excellent at both-despite the occasional colorful language. He excelled at winemaking and loved more than anything to share his reds, whites, and fruit wines with everyone far and wide to bring smiles to their faces. Among many things, Tom's hearty laugh, ability to make others laugh, and his love & friendship that we all shared will be missed most of all.
