SHELVA (Collister) GRESKOWIAK

SHELVA GRESKOWIAK (nee Collister) age 83. Beloved mother of Michelle Simonelli (fiancé Tom Caruso). Cherished grandmother of Taylor Simonelli (fiancé Destin Davis) and Jake Simonelli (fiancé Danielle Lung). Dearest great grandmother of Riley and Mya. Dear sister of Tom Collister (Beverly) and Gary Collister (Linda). Aunt of Wendy Quick (late Sam), Tom Collister (Lou Ann), Brian Collister (Katie) and Elizabeth Collister. 

Shelly was an amazing sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She never missed a practice, game or activity that her daughter or grandchildren participated in. Shelly had a heart of gold and always put her family and friends in front of herself. She was an amazing listener and always genuinely cared about everyone she crossed paths with.

Shelly retired from Key Bank after many years of service. Sports were her entire life - whether it be basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer or most importantly, football. She had a huge passion for Ohio State Football and lived to watch them play on Saturdays! You would never have guessed that this sweet lady would love Ohio State Football so much, but it always made OSU merchandise an easy Christmas gift that she loved.

Watching sports with Shelly was not only fun, but you had the opportunity to learn statistics for hours. It was truly one of her greatest hobbies and passions in life. Shelly had a special place in her heart for her pet cats over the years, who she always loved to spoil. They will miss her dearly, as will everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing (Grandma) Shelly.

The family wishes contributions to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.  There will be a funeral service held on Thursday May 18, 2023, at 10:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday 4 - 8 PM at THE A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OHIO 44130 (WEST of I-71)
