SCOTT L. POCHATEK

SCOTT POCHATEK age 49. Beloved father of Skylar and Drew (mother Gina) . Loving son of Dale and Noreen and Special brother of Jason (Sheri) Pochatek. 

On January 5th at 11:24pm, we lost Scott Pochatek (49 years old) after a hard fought 3 year battle with cancer.  His toughness was amazing.  Scott was a fighter like no other.  Scott was also a lover like no other.  His love for his children Skylar and Drew was undeniable.  He was a great Son to Dale and Noreen and an awesome Brother to Jason & (wife Sheri).  Scott had the greatest group of friends that he truly considered Brothers and Sisters.  Scott loved working at the company he built with his Father, Liberty Equipment & Supply.  Not only being an amazing Father, Friend, Brother and Son, one of his best traits was being an excellent chef.  He was a proud graduate of the Strongsville High School Class of 1990.  

Scott was undoubtedly one of the best walleye fisherman on Lake Erie.  He was known throughout Northern Ohio and consistently brought in and also released big walleye, winning many tournaments through the years.  Scott’s passion for life will never be forgotten, but surely will be missed!  

Rest in peace Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend. 

A Celebration of Life for Scott L. Pochatek will be held at The Chalet at Mill Stream Run Reservation located at 16200 Valley Parkway, Strongsville, Ohio 44136 from 1:00pm to 7:00pm on June 18th, 2022.
