SAM A. YONFRIEDA, age 98. Beloved husband of the late Irene (nee Valore). Loving father of JoAnn Williams (James), Maria Moodt (Richard), Joyce Sloan (Jerry) and the late Salvatore. Cherished grandfather of Michelle Wiktorowski (David), Stephanie Ruskin (Kevin), Chrystn Palma, Jacalyn Day, Lisa Zender (Dries), Matthew Sloan (Larissa), Beau Sloan (Carrie), Erica O’Malley and Leigh Moodt; great grandfather of 13. Dear brother of­­­­ the late Don King, Raymond, Josephine Foggio, Helen Serio and Santina Marimberga. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. U.S. Army World War II Veteran. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110.  Mass of Christian Burial Saturday March 3, 2018 St. Angela Merici Church, 20970 Lorain Road at 11:30AM. Entombment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends FRIDAY 4 – 8 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
