ROBERT PETER LICURSI

ROBERT PETER LICURSI age 76. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Carosielli). Loving father of Barbara Haas (William), Robert Licursi (Lisa), John Delciappo, Michelle Mayer, Mark Licursi (Cindy) and Melissa Licursi.  Cherished grandfather of Justin Licursi, Ashley Carbone, Lauren Licursi, Olivia Licursi, Connor Licursi, Noah Gabel, Zachary Mayer, Nicholas Licursi, Madelyn Licursi and Matthew Viets; great grandfather of Kylie Carbone, Kennedy Carbone, Jordan Carbone, Justin Licursi, and Louie Licursi.  Dearest son of the late Angelo and Ellen Licursi.

Bob, to most everyone he met, could be described as quite the unique character. His family often found him either yelling at Amazon’s Alexa to play his favorite oldies, especially Elvis, or various sporting events on the television. Despite his fiery passion for sports and his feisty sense of humor that was likely due to his forty-some years in the car business, Bob’s family remembers him as a sweetheart. Having embraced his step-children as his own, the family grew and many bonds were formed with himself at the center. His friends, of which there were many, can remember him gambling on horse races, (and virtually anything else), at the Trolley House, where he had coffee almost every day. And to his Rudie, Bob’s wife of forty-two years, he can be remembered as a loving husband who treasured every moment they had together. Despite the challenging cards that Bob was dealt, he remained a beacon of love and a symbol of strength to all that knew him, and will be remembered as such in all of our hearts.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 19, 2023 in St. Bernadette Church at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 4 - 8 PM at THE A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDELBURG HTS, OHIO 44130 (WEST of I-71)
