MICHAEL J. REASS, age 60. Retired NYPD Police Officer & 9/11 First Responder. Beloved husband of Valerie (nee Poccia). Loving father of Caitlin and Michael. Dearest son of the late Everett Reass and Yolanda (nee Ambrogio) Tackenberg. Dear brother of Steven, Jack, Carolann Sharpe (John) and Leonora Hilton. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, many dear friends and especially John and Angela Jakuszewski. Mike was a proud member of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #15 and the Barons Hockey Team in the Hockey North America League. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday September 28, 2021 St. Colette Church, 330 West 130th Street, (Brunswick) at 11:00 AM. Final Resting Place Calvary Cemetery (Utica, N.Y.). The family will receive friends TUESDAY MORNING AT THE CHURCH from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM   (while practicing social distancing and the use of masks). Arrangements entrusted to the A.
