MONA (LaTurza) COCHRAN

MONA COCHRAN (nee La Turza) age 72. Passed away Friday September 4, 2020. She is the beloved wife of Charles “Chuck” Cochran (of Sandusky, Ohio). Loving mother of Rebecca Sakaley (James) and devoted grandmother of Madelyn “Maddy” Tumbleson (all of Columbia Station, Ohio). She was the dearest daughter of Oakley Hacker (the late Nella Mae) (of Manchester, KY). Sister of Vallery LaTurza (of Lexington, KY), Fatima “Tema” Brown (Larry) and Vincent Hacker (Ann) (all of Manchester, KY). Special aunt of Tracy Mott (Robert) and Tony Hacker (Michelle) and great aunt of Chandler, Mayson and Cooper Hacker. She was the best friend of 50 years to Carolyn Rudy (of Sandusky, Ohio). Mona was a lover of books and animals and going to the movies. She was loved by everyone she met and was a much loved by us more. There will be a “Celebration of Her Life” at a later date.
