LEOPOLD A. KRAMER, age 85. Passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2022. He was born on July 14, 1937 in Poellandl, Yugoslavia. Beloved husband of 62 years to Hilda (nee Sieder). Loving father of Linda Jacobs (Mike), Richard (Christine) and Michael (Cheri). Cherished grandfather of Michael, Kailey, Max, Kevin, Hannah and Nicholas.Dearest son of the late Johann and Maria (nee Grill). Dear brother of John (Frieda) (both deceased), Berta (deceased), Marie Thaler (John), Herbert (Elizabeth) and Albin (Erika). Also survived by nieces, nephews, many dear friends especially the members of E.O.U.V. Austrian Club.
Leopold and his family settled in Cleveland, Ohio where he would meet his wife Hilda and wed August 1960. Leo raised his family in South Euclid and moved to their current home in Strongsville in 1976. He was a proud member of the E.O.U.V. Club, an Austrian Social Club in Novelty, Ohio where many joyous years were spent with friends and family. From a career as a craftsman working in metal fabrication providing for his family, to a lifelong love of competition, playing soccer with his beloved German-American Kickers and later table tennis at local rec centers winning gold medals, to his most recent battle with ongoing health issues., Leo’s life was a shining example of resiliency, fortitude, faith and never-give-up attitude that served as an inspiration to all around him.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday September 16, 2022 St. John Neumann Church, 16271 Pearl Road at 10:30AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends THURSDAY 3 – 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
