Lee (Luyster) Hronek

LEE HRONEK (nee Luyster), age 81. Beloved wife of the late Edward. Loving mother of Rowenna Collins, Cynthia Crego (Scott), Michelle Gorczyca (Tony), David and John (Marianne Gray). Cherished grandmother of Geoffrey (Mary), Brittany (Alan), Nathan, Lucas, Kailee, Anthony and Dylan. Great Grandmother to Avery, Arya, and Corey. Dear sister of the late Lloyd Luyster. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Lee was a woman who was equally devoted to her family and her career.  She deeply loved her children and grandchildren.  Lee truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and had a special bond with each of them.  Lee loved to hear about what was going on in their daily lives and was always their biggest cheerleader.  She inspired them with her determination and her strong work-ethic.

Lee began her career at Cleveland Federal Savings.  She was a single mother of 3 daughters and working as a bank teller.  During that same time, she put herself through night school at Cleveland State, where she met her second husband Edward Hronek.  Lee continued her career, working as an escrow officer for U.S.Title, then Title First, and eventually starting her own company Kolo-Hronek Realty.  Lee took great pride in her work, and continued working until the end of her life.  When someone would ask her why she doesn't retire, she had been known to say "what would I do, sit home and knit?!"   Lee loved her work and her coworkers, and leaves behind many friends and colleagues.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday November 12, 2021 St. Columbkille Church at 10:00AM. (EVERYONE MEET AT CHURCH). Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends (while practicing social distancing and the use of masks) THURSDAY 3 – 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
