LAURICE PETERS (nee NAHRA), age 90. Beloved wife of 67 years to James. Loving mother of James “Jamie” (Katherine). Cherished grandmother “Tata” of Victoria. Dearest daughter of the late Elias and Toufica (nee Ina) Nahra. Dear sister of Renee Hamoui (Bill, deceased), Carl Nahra (Connie, deceased), John Nahra (Carol), Gus Nahra (Georgette), George Nahra (Amal), Amale Hamway (Omer), Jeannie Gaydan (Martin, deceased) and the late Jeanette Najim (Philip), Halim and Antoine Nahra. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Laurice dedicated her life and her incredible voice in service of God and her family. She gave freely of her gifts and talents to all she encountered. Her door was always open and the table was always full. She will be deeply missed by those who knew her. “I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live” (Psalm 104:33). In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Road, Parma, Ohio 44130. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday September 22, 2021 (while practicing social distancing and the use of masks) at St. Maron Church, 1245 Carnegie Avenue 10:30AM. (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH).
