Larry Castaneda

LARRY CASTANEDA, age 73. Passed away November 8, 2021 with his wife and children by his side. Beloved wife of 48 years to Diana (nee Gay). Loving father of Tracy Bendler (Scott), Lisa Perez (David), DeeDee Krus (John), Larry Castaneda III (Stephen) and Anthony Castaneda. Cherished grandfather of 13; great grandfather of 18. A precious son of the late Lazaro and Gloria Castaneda. Dear brother of Ricardo,  Ruben, Gracie and the late Connie Fleming. Also survived by many dear friends. Larry was a Navy Veteran who served his country proudly, some of his other achievements include working as a supervisor at The Arrow Fabricating Company for 45+ years, also he served as youth leader at the Calvary Apostolic Temple in Cleveland where he was also involved faithfully in the bus ministry. He also served as a Sunday School Superintendent at The First UPC of Parma as well as teaching a Sunday School Class. Larry was truly a kind, gentle understanding soul. One who displayed respect and integrity. He loved the Lord with all of his heart, and faithfully devoted himself to God, his family, the church and to his friends. Funeral services Friday November 12, 2021 at the funeral home 4:00 PM. Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. The family will receive friends (while practicing social distancing and the use of masks) FRIDAY 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
