LINDA E. VEGA, age 59. Loving mother of the late Daniel Marzan. Dearest daughter of Candida (nee Rios) and the late Jose. Dear sister of Elba “Eledin” Feliciano (Edgar) and Jose Vega (Norma). Cherished aunt of Jose and Edwin Vega, Edward Feliciano (Leeanna), Mayra Vega-Boege (Jimmy) and Tamara Feliciano. Loving companion of Edwin Castro. Also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Linda was a beloved coworker. She worked for 20 years at American Greetings and cared deeply for her American Greetings family. She took pride in her work, she pushed herself to do better for herself, and she didn’t believe in cutting corners. Linda was a beloved friend. She leaves behind countless friends whose lives are forever impacted by her kindness, her contagious laugh, and her passionate spirit. Linda was a beloved partner. She and her partner, Edwin Castro, found peace in each other and together they lived life to the fullest. Linda was a beloved family member. She was “Tongolele”, “sissy”, “Lin”,“the little w”, “the big squidget” and so much more. She was the epicenter of her family who will miss her beyond measure. Linda was a beloved mother, daughter, and soulmate. Her spirit has passed on into the arms of her son Danny Marzan, her father Jose (“Tono”) Vega, her soulmate Herman Espinoza, and her faithful companion Luke who have been waiting for her on the other side. Linda was as vivacious as she was elegant. She lived her life by the credo “put your big girl panties on and deal with it” and she passed on her own terms. May we all live our lives Linda strong. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to The Gathering Place, 23300 Commerce Park, Beachwood, Ohio 44122 in memory of Linda Vega. Mass of Christian Burial Monday March 9, 2020 St. Michael the Archangel Church, 3114 Scranton Road at 10:00AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends SUNDAY 1 – 5 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
