LINDA (Swaggard) GUMINEY

LINDA GUMINEY (nee Swaggard) age 76. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Guminey. Dearest companion of Bill Magda. Loving mother of John Guminey (Julie), Michael Guminey (Cheryl), Keri Thoman (Bill) and Katie Lechler (Albert).  Cherished grandmother of Cullen, Grace, Brooklyn, Will, Ryan, Cassie, and Trey. Dear sister of Richard Swaggard (Kathy). Aunt and great aunt of several.

Linda spent nearly two decades teaching in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland at Our Lady of Angels and St. Anthony of Padua. She enjoyed dinners with her many friends, spending time playing bingo, scrabble, and other games with her friends from the Strongsville Recreation Center and at her community of friends from United Church Homes in Brunswick. But nothing made Linda happier than spending time with her four children and seven grandchildren.  She was surrounded by family and passed away peacefully in her sleep.  She will be dearly missed by all. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Church, Strongsville, OH Wednesday April 24, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  The family will receive friends Wednesday from 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).
