DR. KIMBERLY NEMETH-D'AMBROSIO 45, passed into eternal life on February 29, 2024. A woman of faith, an excellent vascular surgeon, and a treasured wife and mother, Kimberly took the blessings and gifts she was given and crafted a life of unselfish service for the care of everyone around her, whether they were family, neighbors, patients, or strangers.
Born February 16, 1979, in Mansfield, Ohio, Kimberly was a graduate St. Peter’s High School and Ohio University School of Osteopathic Medicine. After completing her residency, she spent her career practicing as a vascular surgeon at various hospitals in the Cleveland area. Dr. Nemeth-D’Ambrosio leaves behind countless patients whose lives have been improved or even saved due to her expertise and compassionate care. All those who worked with and knew her looked up to her and loved her.
Kimberly is survived by her husband, Michael, and two children, Carmen, 14, and Lorenzo, 8, of Westlake, Ohio, parents, Nancy (Schrack) and Stephen J. Nemeth of Mansfield, Ohio, siblings, Lindsay Lehman (Jerry) of Roanoke, Indiana, Kristin Husty (Eric) of Mansfield, and Stephen C. Nemeth (Denise) of San Antonio, Texas, a number of nephews and nieces, and her beloved walking and running companion, Cinnamon.
The family will "Celebrate" Kimberly's Life with a Mass of Christian Burial to be held on Saturday March 9, 2024 at St. Raphael Church, 525 Dover Center Road, Bay Village, Ohio 44140 at 11:00 AM (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH) The family will receive friends on Friday March 8, 2024 from 3 - 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, (WEST of I-71)
The family will also host a second Memorial Service on Saturday, April 13th at 11:00 A.M. in her hometown of Mansfield, Ohio. The service and reception will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church located at 60 S. Mulberry St. in Mansfield, Ohio. All are welcome to attend and join in to celebrate Dr. Kimberly's life. Plans have begun to form a foundation in Kimberly's honor. The foundation will provide funding for vascular surgery education and/or cancer research.
