JOSEPHINE ANN (Sirak) BIRD

JOSEPHINE A. BIRD (nee Sirak), age 73. Beloved wife of Michael for 52 years; devoted mother of Robert (Michelle); dear sister of Robert Sirak, and the late Josephine, Marian Schoeffler, Andrew (Lois), and Rosemary; caring aunt and friend of many.

Her love for animals would keep her bringing in stray dogs and adopting birds. She especially loved travelling with her husband and family on several cruises and with their motorhome, being sure to stop at the local casino. But most of all, she was tenacious with the school board, always fighting for the kids!

Josephine’s family is truly grateful for the compassionate care provided by the Westbrook Place Nursing and Rehabilitation (Westlake) and Compassus Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association of Cleveland at alz.org/cleveland or to your local animal shelter.

Graveside prayers will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 3, 2020 in Lakewood Park Cemetery (while practicing social distancing and the use of masks). Please meet inside cemetery entrance. Arrangements by the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
