JOHN W. MAYER, age 78. Beloved husband of 50 years to Diana (nee Wukovich). Loving father of Joanie Gedeon (Matt), Karen Gallagher (Kevin) and Lori Crow (Jim). Cherished grandfather of Sean, Christopher, Jonathan, Emily, Steven, Logan and Joey. Dearest son of the late John and Anna (nee Grze). Dear brother-in-law of Virginia and Chuck Burton, Joann and Ron Smith. Also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. John was a former employee of Bowman Distribution Barnes Group for over 40 years. Mass of Christian Burial Monday November 18, 2019 St. Adalbert Church, 66 Adalbert Street (Berea) at 11:00AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends SUNDAY 1 – 5 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
