JAMES B, CRAWFORD age 87. Beloved and devoted husband of Josephine (nee Amata) for 63 years. Loving dad of Gina Crawford (Tom), Sandy Crawford (Mark), Michele Delfre (Anthony) and the late Greg Crawford and Lindy Crawford. Cherished "Papa" of Joseph Delfre, James Delfre, Ava Delfre and Lauren Crawford. "Fun Loving" brother of the late Donald Crawford, Judy Foster and Gloria Kokinda. Special uncle, cousin and friend to many. U.S. Army Veteran.
Jimmy had a love of life and adventure. He enjoyed travel, spontaneous trips, camping and good campfires. He loved flying his airplane and being with family and friends at the Columbia Station airport. An entrepreneur who dabbled in many different areas during his life. At the top of his list was always family, friends and fun. Friday Fish Fry, Saturday out dancing and Sunday a drive in the country with Josephine in his convertible. He enjoyed his cars, airplanes, motorcycles, boats, trucks, RVs, campers, and earth moving equipment. He looked forward to spending winters in Florida with his siblings Donny, Judy and Gloria. He kept himself busy every day of the week. He was funny, always smiling and talked to everyone and anyone who would who would listen. Jimmy will be fondly remembered by his family and friends as a loving husband and father, great storyteller, and a hard worker.
A Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at St. Bartholomew Church, Saturday June 6, 2020 at 11:00 AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received with Social Distancing Friday 4 - 8 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDELBURG HEIGHTS, OHIO 44130 (west of I-71).
