JAMES R. BARRETT

JAMES R. BARRETT age 79. Beloved son of the late Michael and Margaret (nee Barbieri) Barrett. Dearest father of Shane Barrett (Melissa) and grandfather of Kieran and Sulivan "Sully" Barrett. Dear brother of Edward Barrett (Barb), Francis Barrett (deceased), Mary D'Andrea (Sam) (both deceased) and Kathleen Milligan (John).  Uncle to many nieces and nephews.  

Jimmie was a great all-around athlete! Best known in grade school at St. Francis de Sales in Parma, for scoring 81 points on January 14, 1956 in a game against St. John Cantius!  In high school he was a multi athletic star for Cathedral Latin! Being named to the all East Senate team in both basketball and football!  In 2014 he was inducted into the Cathedral Latin Hall of Fame!  He that went on to college at Xavier University in Cincinnati on a football scholarship. Graduating with a BA in education and a masters degree. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday August 20, 2022 from 1 - 3 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OHIO 44130 (WEST of I-71)
