HATTIE M. BILSEY (nee Shaffer), age 82. Beloved wife of late Arthur; devoted mother of Kathleen Mollett (Terry), and James Bilsey. Grandmother to her favorite granddaughter Amy Taylor (Jason) and her favorite grandson Nicholas Mollett. Cherished Great Grandmother to Emma and Ava Taylor. Sister to late Louise Stadalski and Clare Parker. Dear daughter to late Porter and Edna Shaffer.
Hattie spent 32 years in the grocery store. This helped support the family and fund her love of world travel. Hattie’s love for adventure included bowling, horseback riding, scuba diving, playing cards, camping, and volunteering.
Hattie’s spirit of volunteering earned her the City of Cleveland Citizen of the Year award. She enjoyed her many years working with the Polish Legion of American Veterans and Wade Park VA Hospital.
She loved to live life to the fullest! She even ran with the bulls in Pamplona, Spain!!
She was a friend to many and will be missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at St. Patrick's Church (West Park). PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment Brooklyn Heights Cemetery.
The family will receive friends MONDAY 4-7 P.M. (with masks and social distancing) Holy Rosary 6:45 p.m. at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
