David William Kach

DAVID W. KACH, age 43. Dearest son of the late William and Patricia (nee Lasota). Dear brother of Kristen Flynn (Brian). Dear uncle of Morgan and Emerson Flynn. Loved by Jessica Mirza. Also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Especially his four legged companion “Little Miss”.  David had a thirst for knowledge and he graduated from St.Ignatius High School in 1997. He chose to complete his undergraduate degree in Comparative Religious Studies at The Ohio State University and then went on to earn a Master’s degree, also in Comparative Religious Studies, at The University of Colorado in Boulder. David had a passion for cooking and was always trying new cuisines. He was a loving, kind, quiet soul, but enjoyed a nice political or spiritual debate. His generous heart and willingness to lend a hand when needed will surely be missed. His life was a living example of love and forgiveness. “And be kind and compassionate to one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.” -Ephesians 4:32.

Always remember David with a prayer of which he was very fond, “God, grant me the serenity, to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. “

Mass of Christian Burial Friday June 3, 2022 St. Mary Church, 250 Kraft Street (Berea) at 11:30AM. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends THURSDAY 4 – 6 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
