DONALD A. HOWELL

HOWELL, DONALD A., age 81. Beloved husband of 35 years to Nancy (nee Tapaszi). Dearest son of the late Albert and Merle (nee Fankhouser). Dear brother of Clara Haught (Robert, deceased), Glenda Jackson (Temple) and Dennis (Dianne) . Also survived by nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. U. S. Army Veteran. Donald has many family members and friends. Donald served in the Army and was proud to show his patriotism. Don loved the outdoors spending time out west and in West Virginia in his younger years. Don took a position with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in Cleveland from which he retired. Don volunteered in the Cleveland Metroparks teaching primitive skills, doing trail work, cooking for Breakfast in the Park and much more. Joy for Don was visiting family in West Virginia where he would stay up most of the night recounting stories with his family. Don spent lots of time reading a wide variety of books and magazines. He is deeply missed and would want his friends to plant a tree that provides food or shelter for wildlife, as a remembrance. Due to the Covid epidemic, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the A.
