Billy James Collins, 71. Loving son to the late William and Patricia Collins. Devoted dad to Robert, William, Shawn (DeAnna), James, Candice (Antoine), Samantha (John), Shannon, Roxanne, and Daniele. Beloved brother to Terry (Roberta), Diane (Gil), and the late Mary Ann. Loving grandfather to Amber, Rachel, Brody, Tommy, Shawn, Michael, Crystal, Shawna, the late Jessica, James, Karen, Martial, Kaidon, Isabella, Olivia, Jazzlynn, Jeniah, Dakota, Tyler, Sara and 25 great grandchildren. Dedicated uncle to many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Billy was a great man with many talents. He retired as a contractor, where he enjoyed working with his hands and crafting things from leather and wood. He was hard working and determined. He worked hard his entire life and did many different things. He loved to garden and grow his own plants, fruits, and vegetables. Of all his accomplishments he was most proud of his children. Billy's grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every minute of his time with them. He loved attending school events, concerts, softball, and soccer games. His life was full and satisfying. He was many things to many people. He transitioned from a child to a teenager, to a man, to a dad, to a grandpa, and then a great grandpa. He embraced every piece of life and lived it to its fullest. His stories were full of excitement and adventure as he told them he brought his memories to life. Billy will be greatly missed by many and loved forever. His memory will live on through all the lives he has touched and all the knowledge he has shared.
