ANITA M. (Sankowski) KOSMOWSKI

ANITA M. KOSMOWSKI (nee Sankowski) passed away peacefully at home with her loving family at her side. Daughter of the late Tadeuz and Antonina (Leciejewski) Sankowski in Cleveland, OH. She was the beloved wife of the late Zygmunt Kosmowski and the late Maurice P. Lahaye, Loving mother of Nicole Waldecker (Joseph), Maurice Lahaye (Jessica), Zygmunt Kosmowski III (Mary Grace), Angela (Uri Avatichi), Alan and David (Sasha). Cherished nana to Ava and Teagan, Grandmother to 11 overall. In addition to her children, Anita is survived by her three siblings; Andrew Sankowski (Ellen), Barbara Becerra and Krystyna Straub (Michael). 

Anita was a dedicated employee of the Berea City School District and will always be remembered for her infectius smile and sense of humor and couldn't be found without a cup of coffee. She devoted her time to making memories with family that will last an eternity, shining bright at any gathering attended and dancing at every opportunity through life. She was always there to lend a ear to listen. 

Her love knew no bounds and will continue endlessly in everyone she touched. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday November 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. The family will greet friends Monday from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at THE A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (WEST of I-71)
