ANASTASIA CAMPBELL Obituary

ANASTASIA “STACEY” CAMPBELL (nee Crose) age 35. Beloved wife of Michael. Cherished daughter of Dennis and Christine Crose. Dearest sister of Andrea Colombo (Joseph III) and Kellyn Crose. Daughter in Law of David and Patricia Campbell and sister in law of Jessica Campbell. Aunt of Joseph Colombo IV and Nicole Colombo. Devoted companion of her K-9 “Copper Low Rider Campbell”

Stacey was born December 18, 1985 and grew up in Strongsville, OH. As a kid, she had a variety of hobbies - dancing, swimming, camping, playing with her dolls, riding bikes around the neighborhood… She was quieter than most but had a big spirit and curious attitude.

Stacey went on to pursue many avenues over the years as well. Marching band, flag team, acting, modeling - nothing was off limits when it came to exploring her interests and her future. She started studying Communications at the University of Toledo in 2004. Soon after beginning her studies, she joined the Disney College Program and moved to Orlando, FL where she would also meet some of her closest, lifelong friends. Stacey eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Cleveland State University and even later went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Baldwin Wallace University as well.

She was a devoted and hard worker but she always made time for her family and the things that mattered the most.

Stacey met her husband Michael back in 2006 while working at Piercing Pagoda at the mall. After their first date, they were inseparable and he quickly became a part of the family. On May 28th, 2011, Stacey and Mike tied the knot and have remained forever in love since. The two shared so much together over the years - countless Disney trips, weekend vacations, concerts, sporting events, go-kart races, even welcoming a fur baby together - Copper Low-Rider. Together, the three of them created a life full of love and laughs - a bond which pushed her to fight through her most difficult of days, never losing sight of that happiness even through the end.

On February 25th of 2019, Stacey was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroendocrine carcinoma. She never gave up hope that she could beat it and her attitude was truly inspirational. She continued making future plans and talking so passionately about her goals even in her final weeks… it was difficult to imagine any end in sight for her. She held herself together so courageously that many of her closest family members did not even notice how much she was truly battling, which has ultimately made missing her that much harder.

Stacey passed peacefully during prayer on All Saints’ Day while surrounded by her husband, family, and loved ones. She was unbelievably strong and kept fighting until the very last second. We are all blessed to have known her, loved her, to have been loved by her, and she will continue to hold a special place in all of our hearts.

May God bless Stacey and may she rest in eternal peace.
