MARGARET J. (Antal) SOBEY

MARGARET J. SOBEY (nee Antal) age 93. Beloved wife of 72 years to George. Loving mother of Kathleen Nelson and Kenneth Sobey (Marsha). Cherished grandmother of Kenneth Sobey, Jr. (Denise), Michael Sobey and Andrew Nelson (Marlene). Great grandmother of Lillian, Sam and Bella. Dear sister of the late Rose Smith.

Margaret was one of the founding members of her parish, a volunteer for the many early events and recently joined the church group feeding the hungry. She served as a Eucharist Minister, visiting nursing homes and helping as an usher on Sunday for mass.

She was a very active Bridge player who accumulated sufficient points to be awarded a “Life Master” status from the American Bridge League. In lieu of flowers, contributions requested to Holy Family Home, 6707 State Road, Parma OH 44134. Mass of Christian Burial St. Bartholomew Church, Tuesday July 9, 2019 at 12:30 PM, Interment Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Friends received Monday 4 – 7 PM at the A. RIPEPI AND SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS, OH (West of I-71).
