JOHN A. NELSON, age 97. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Wendland) and the late Myrna (nee Kerr). Loving father of Craig (Beth), Kristine Noll (deceased) and Nancy Donahue (Bill); stepfather of Linda Diteman (David), Darleen Kimbrell (Ian) and Jane King. Cherished grandfather of Elizabeth, Andrew, Matthew, Joshua, Brian, Kathleen, Samuel, Simone, Olive, Owen, Balin, Devin, Norah, Vivian, Zosia, Autumn, Sarah, Elijah; great grandfather of 4. Dear brother of the late Anne. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. U.S. Navy World War II Veteran. John was the former CEO and Trustee at Parma Community General Hospital. In lieu of flowers the family requests donation to Parma Community General Hospital Health Care Foundation, 7007 Powers Blvd., Parma, Ohio 44129. Celebration of Life Service Friday October 19, 2018 at the A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Home at 10:30AM. Final resting place Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the A.
