HOWARD E. THOMPSON, age 93. Beloved husband of the late Elvira (nee Selecky). Loving father of Sandra Sawyer (Terrence) and Christine Mysliwiec (David). Cherished grandfather of Neil Zychowski (Donna) and Adrianna Orosz; great grandfather of Ryan Zychowski. Longtime friend of Patricia Morchak. Dear brother of the late Mildred Behrman, Ruth Kerr and Sheldon. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. U.S. Navy World War II Veteran who was stationed aboard the USS Missouri and present for the World War II signing of the peace treaty. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105. Funeral services Tuesday December 11, 2018 at the funeral home 12:00 PM. Interment Woodvale Cemetery. The family will receive friends MONDAY 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
