DANIEL R. JAEB, age 81. Passed away peacefully Monday April 8, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 60 years to Charleen (nee Smith). Loving father of Steve (Becca), Teresa Lewis (Mark), Carole Coury (Tony) and Kristine Ross (Evan). Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Kelsey, Daniel, Matthew, Michael (fiancé Allison), Rachel, Jessica, Abby, Lila and Carson; great grandfather of Emma and Paityn. Dearest son of the late Reinhold and Mary (nee Zwick). Dear brother of Evelyn Maurer (deceased) (Vernon), Jane Ebie (Lowell, deceased) and Thomas (Lou Ann) (both deceased). Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Dan was born in Louisville, Ohio, attended Louisville High School and Kent State University. He received many awards during his 40 year career with Nationwide Insurance. Dan’s life was dedicated to kindness and service to others. He was an active member of St. Bartholomew Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister, an active member in the Holy Name Society and Christian Family Movement. Faith, family, love, and laughter filled his life each and every day. Many people will remember Dan as friendly and outgoing, often striking up a conversation with any person, at any place and at any time. His legacy of giving and caring will live on in each of us. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to St. Bartholomew Church, 14865 Bagley Road, Middleburg Hts., Ohio 44130. Mass of Christian Burial Monday April 15, 2019 St. Bartholomew Church at 11:00AM. Interment Woodvale Cemetery. The family will receive friends SUNDAY 1 – 5 PM at the A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
