CHARLES W. DAY, age 83. Beloved husband of 63 years to Frances (nee Manaia). Loving father of Deann Wendell, Linda Simon, Charles F. and Shannon Bak (David). Cherished grandfather of 8; great grandfather of 3. Dear brother of Helen Maranelli, Ann Crawford, Mary Lou Schreffler and the late Robert, Bette Thayer. Also survived by nieces, nephews and many dear friends. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Habitat for Humanity, 337 Maxwell Avenue, Greenwood, S.C. 29646. The family and friends will gather Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 2 - 3 PM with a Celebration of Life Service at 3:00 PM in the GATHERING CENTER OF A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY ROAD, MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71).
