A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Homes' commitment to the families and communities it serves is evident from its investment in a new state-of-the-art funeral home in Middleburg Heights and the recent complete renovation of it's home on Fulton Road in Cleveland. The brothers, Stephen, Anthony, Jr. and Daniel Ripepi, together will be able to assist families with any funeral arrangements or pre-arrangements desired.
According to Stephen Ripepi, A. Ripepi and Sons will soon unveil a spectacular new warm and inviting 15,000 square-foot funeral home at the former Golden Corral Buffet on 18149 Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights. A grand opening celebration is scheduled for late fall 2003.
"The funeral home will feature multiple parlors, decorative lighting, a drive-under canopy at both the front and rear entrance, new landscaping, and a special room for children that will have a TV-VCR with children's movies, books." said Ripepi. There will also be a new 4,000 square-foot family gathering center for luncheons and family support after funeral services. Complete catering will be offered or families can bring in their own food or ethnic favorites."
"Along with new walls and a beautiful new décor, the Middleburg Heights funeral home will also offer the latest in services," said Ripepi. "We will now have a cremation room, and services will be available for any denomination. We'll also offer concierge services to assist with the needs of out-of-town family members as a part of the arrangement costs. From making room reservations to dining, car rentals, and more, we will offer complete service to assist family members with all of the details in their time of need."
According to the Ripepi brothers, the second story will house most of the accounting offices to separate them from public and family areas. Plans are also underway to expand and resurface the parking lot. "Upon completion, we will have the largest parking facility for a funeral home in Cuyahoga County," said Steve Ripepi. "The home is also close to Interstate 71, providing easy access to all of the major interstates and eastern, western, and southern suburbs."
At 3202 Fulton Road, A. Ripepi & Sons Funeral Homes has also undergone an extensive renovation with the help of the City of Cleveland Storefront Renovation Program. "We have completely refinished the original building with new vinyl siding, windows to allow for more efficient heating and cooling, concrete walkways, lighting, gardens, and a newly expanded, fenced-in parking lot for easy access," said Ripepi. "The interior also received a new facelift with comfortable colors, decorative features and large viewing rooms."
According to Steve Ripepi, staff are readily available at both homes to help families with pre-planning. "Irrevocable trust pre-need funeral contracts allow family members to take advantage of today's pricing and save substantial money," said Ripepi. "They also reduce the burden on other family members at a later point and time because all of the details are planned in advance."
